Being eco means reducing energy used !
Tommy's Place is hoping that others can see what we are doing and can copy it for their own residences or other resort business owners too.
We hope every resort and hotels will do it and we can reduce hydrocarbon buring by many factors.
All guests are free to walk around the whole land to see how we achieve it.
In addition to having chlorine free water (good for your skin) we also save the enviroment.

Tommy's Place is up for 5 years, however every year the plastic wastage is not reducing but increasing not only from our side. Neighbourhood beach coastal are frequantly full of rubbish specially plastic bottles and cans.
Our lovely guest always so helpful to clean our beach while they supposed to lay down and relax do nothing.
We hereby hope to reduce more plastic bottles! At our reception there's a triple filtered head for 3 different temperature water:- Hot, Room temperature and Cold is the most important during the hot day.
You can bring your own bottle or purchase a 1.5Liter mineral water from us at RM 5.00. Why so high? We want others to appreciate it and reuse it. From each bottle we sell, we will donate the RM 1.00 each bottle to the Local community and beach cleaning event.

ARCHITECTURE DESIGN.
The way we design the roof saves a lot of energy.

Eco-wing construction and the villa construction uses double-roofing.
Note the hole in between the roofs.
Double roofing essentially means adding another roof !
In this tropical climate where average temperature is 30 celcius.
A normal house will store this huge amount of enery and release it at night, so the room becomes hot and occupants have to use air conditioner during the night.
Air-con uses the highest kilowatt hour consumption.
The double-roofing solution is simple and efffective in addition to doubly prevent rainwater leaks too.
Our Eco-wing is cool at night and with the mosquito netting, most of our customers chose to use the fan only at night.
